The 7th International Fairtrade Town conference in September is this year in Oslo, Norway. It doesn’t seem long since we all met in Poznan, Poland where the Beyond 2015 campaign was launched for the continuation of the Millennium Development Goals.

I’ll be talking to people about The FIG Tree, especially as we are now changing the business model and will be a Community Interest Company, and selling shares. Hopefully also picking up and sharing ideas about campaigning, we congregate from all over the world but the goals and aims are a common bond. How privileged we are to be able to come together to discuss how to help alleviate the abject poverty still seen today when it’s completely preventable.
