January 18th 2013 saw the declaration of Yorkshire being the first Fairtrade region.

I was privileged to meet the Archbishop of York John Sentamu and the Lord Mayor of York Keith Hyman who are both big supporters of Trade Justice. The Fairtrade towns movement just gets stronger and stronger.
